Le Becquet, Port de Becquet.

In the very small port of Becquet we found something at the port entrance that looks like a position for a searchlight, to cover the harbour entrance.

Le Becquet, Plage Collignon.

South of the village of Le Becquet lies Plage Collignon, where also one of the piers of the harbour of Cherbourg enters the mainland.
At this location some German bunkers have been built in or at and around an old French defence work. We think that some of the German bunkers are now a days covered with sand or earth and overgrown with grass.

1x 501 Group bunker, with Flak emplacement on the roof.
Xx Hidden bunkers.
1x Old French fortification.
1x Tobruk58c.
2x Tobruk FT17-turret.
1x Ringstand for mortar.
1x Sk 606 Bunker for 60cm searchlight. (probably, heavily damaged)
